Assistant Manager Project job recruitment in Odisha Public Service Commission (Odisha PSC)

No. of Post : 16 (UR-04, SC-03, ST-06, SEBC-03)

Qualification : A candidates must have obtained a Degree in any of the Engineering Subjects from a University/Institution recognized by AICTE, New Delhi

Pay Scale : Rs.9,300-34,800/-

Age : 21-32 yrs

Fee : A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non adjustable fee of Rs.200/- only. Candidates belonging to SC/ST of Odisha and Persons with Disabilities (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of Career assessment and Viva Voce. The Commission shall short-list the candidates for interview on the basis of evaluation of their academic career from HSC or equivalent examination to Degree examination. The weightage to be given for different examinations for evaluation of the academic career shall be as follows:

HSC or it's equivalent - 20%

+2 or it's equivalent -20%

Bachelor Degree -60%

Parija Road, Cuttack-753001, so as to reach the same in the office of the OPSC on or before 27.06.2017 till 6.00 P.M. The SC/ST & Persons with Disabilities candidates are not required to enclose the copy of Challan showing payment of fee. Applications without signature under the declaration will be liable for rejection. Recommendations of the Royal Commission on superior services in India, 1924, referred to in short, as the Lee Commission, and now they find place in the Constitution of India in Articles 315 to 323. The Odisha Public Service Commission was constituted on 1st April, 1949 after itÂ's bifurcation from the former Bihar and Odisha Joint Public Service Commission. At the time of creation of the Odisha Public Service Commission the strength of the Commission was three including Chairman . The strength increased to five in the year 1979 and further increased to six in the year 1996.
